The EuroChem Cup took place again in Novomoskovsk! But it was futsal tournament

On the artificial football field of the Khimik stadium, the battles of the School League in futsal among boys of 6-8 grades for the EuroChem Cup did not stop for four days.

Young futsal players from 17 educational organizations first fought in four groups for 1st and 2nd places, which gave the right to play in the ¼ finals. In the matches held, young football players took lots of efforts to win, even a hot male tear sometimes appeared after an offensive defeat.

On April 25, crucial matches took place. First, the 8 strongest teams in the matches of the ¼ finals fought for getting into the semi-finals. To determine the winner of the match between School No. 15 and Education Center No. 1, which ended in a goalless draw, six-meter penalties had to be taken, in which the guys from Education Center No. 1 turned out to be more accurate with a score of 9:8.

After the end of the quarter-final matches, at the general formation of the teams, all participants were presented with beautiful T-shirts with the logo of the EuroChem Cup. Immediately after that, the semi-final matches took place, in which the teams of schools No. 17 and No. 20 defeated School No. 8 and Education Center No. 1 with the same score 3: 1, respectively. In the match for bronze medals, students of the Education Center No. 1 defeated the guys from school No. 8 with a score of 4:2.

In the match for gold medals, the team of school No. 17 confidently outplayed the football players of school No. 20 with a score of 6: 2 and won the main cup of the competition along with medals.

The chief referee of the competition Igor Trenikhin, on behalf of all the participants of the competition, expressed his gratitude to the Children's and Youth Sports School "Khimik" for the opportunity to hold these competitions at the main stadium of the city.
