The opening ceremony of the third arena in Novomoskovsk will take place on October 4!
This is the brightest event for Novomoskovsk hockey which will be held on Friday, October 4, at 3 p.m.
The laying of the first stone for the construction of the third ice arena took place at the closing ceremony of EuroChem Cup 2019. Construction lasted four months.
Looking into the new history of hockey development in Novomoskovsk, you can find out that the beginning of the development of this sport in the city was laid by the EuroChem company, which built the Yubileiny ice palace in 2011. After some time, our wonderful tournament appeared - EuroChem Cup. A few years ago, the company "Polyplast" took care of the development of hockey in Novomoskovsk. They presented to the governor of the Tula region Alexei Dyumin and residents of Novomoskovsk a grandiose project for the construction of sports and training facilities for children. Together with the existing buildings of the ice palace, they will form a single complex in which there will be everything necessary for athletes, including those coming to the competition: a large training room, a third ice arena, a dressing room and sports equipment, as well as a hotel for non-resident athletes. So in Novomoskovsk there will already be a whole sports town. This will continue the development of hockey in Novomoskovsk at a completely different level, move
forward not only children's hockey, but also will develop this sport among young people!
And a little about the third arena: a unique platform measuring 26 by 56 meters will be the third ice arena in the city. And the second object, the financing of which, from beginning to end, was undertaken by Polyplast Novomoskovsk. The cost of the entire complex is almost 60 million rubles.
Ordinary residents of the city need a new playground, especially the younger generation and children, it will provide an opportunity to skate at weekends and in the evening. It is assumed that a skate rental point will be equipped at the new arena.
Modern equipment and technologies for freezing ice allow you to conduct training in the open air even at a temperature of +20 degrees, which is the main difference from similar arenas.
And, it must be emphasized that now in our city all the opportunities for the development of hockey are created: a good coaching school, a professional hockey club, sports classes.
