Sport is good, but the development of science among the younger generation is a super goal that EuroChem is trying to implement

The development of science and education, along with sports, have always been the main areas of social policy, which EuroChem always pays close attention to. From 2010 to 2015, thanks to EuroChem, ice palaces were opened in Novomoskovsk (Tula Region), Nevinnomyssk (Stavropol Territory), Kingisepp (Leningrad Region). And after 2015, the Company pays more attention to the development of education, in particular, such disciplines as mathematics, chemistry, physics, and IT technologies. And the news from Kingisepp confirms this. At the end of March, laboratories for the training of young scientists were opened in the city.

The opening of two laboratories of the Center for Children's Scientific and Engineering Creativity, created with the support of the Government of the Leningrad Region, the administration of the Kingisepp District, the Andrey Melnichenko Foundation and the EuroChem company, became the brightest event in the educational environment of the Leningrad Region.

"Less than a year ago, together with EuroChem and the Andrey Melnichenko Foundation, we opened the third Quantorium children's technopark in Kingisepp. A city-forming enterprise helps to raise true professionals deeply immersed in processes from school. By opening new laboratories, Quantorians have taken another step towards great opportunities," Nikolay Yemelyanov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Leningrad Region for Social Affairs, noted in his commentary for the Kingisepp Today portal.

The Center for Children's Scientific and Engineering Creativity is located on the basis of the Kingisepp College of Technology and Service, as well as the children's technopark "Kvantorium", which was created by the Government of the Leningrad Region in partnership with the Andrey Melnichenko Foundation and the EuroChem company as part of the implementation of the National Project "Education" . In the laboratories of the Center, Kingisepp children will study physics and chemistry in depth as part of additional education programs.

"The laboratories of the Center for Children's Scientific and Engineering Creativity will be available not only to its pupils and children from Quantorium, but also to students of EuroChem classes and EuroChem groups. The laboratories have the highest level of equipment, which allows creating unique opportunities for Kingisepp schoolchildren and students to study physics and chemistry, as well as receive free quality education. We are creating a universal platform for everyone who is passionate about the natural sciences and ready to discover new things," Alexander Cherednik, executive director of the Andrey Melnichenko Foundation, emphasized in his speech.

EuroChem systematically and purposefully supports educational institutions in the cities of its presence and actually creates a new system for training qualified personnel, including engineers, for its industrial enterprises, which allows them to master new professions without leaving their native cities.

So in Kingisepp last year, on the basis of secondary school No. 1, EuroChem classes of the Andrey Melnichenko Foundation were created, and in the Kingisepp College of Technology and Service of the EuroChem Group, whose students study specialized subjects in an expanded format, receive additional support from teachers from the best universities in preparing to the olympiads and passing the exam.

Also, the Andrey Melnichenko Foundation and EuroChem attracted the St. Petersburg State Technological Institute (Technical University) to work in Kingisepp, and already in September, Kingisepp graduates will have the opportunity to become students of a prestigious university without leaving their hometown, and all production practices will be provided by the enterprises " EuroChem" in Kingisepp.
