The winners of the marketing and communications awards for KHL and MHL clubs for the 2024-2025 season were announced at a seminar held in Moscow on June 2nd.

Grants for the training of marketing and communications staff were awarded to the departments of Sibir, Admiral, and Metallurg.
Best Sponsorship Activation (Budget over 3 million rubles)
Nine applications were submitted in this category from six clubs. The winning project was from HC Dynamo Minsk for their activation of the sponsorship contract with Belavia airline.
Best Sponsorship Activation (Budget up to 3 million)
This category received 21 applications from 10 clubs. The winning case was implemented by HC Neftekhimik in partnership with a bookmaker to mark the team`s 1000th KHL game.
Best Fan Engagement Case on Game Day
In this category, 35 applications were received from 14 clubs. Avangard, Ak Bars, and Traktor again demonstrated a high standard. Dynamo Minsk conducted a season of themed matches, achieving 26 sell-outs, and was recognized as the best club for fan engagement on game days.
Best Fan Engagement Case on Non-Game Day
Twelve applications were submitted from 10 clubs in this category. HC Traktor won with their pre-season team presentation as part of the Traktor Winline Fest.
Best Project for Audience Aged 1 to 17
This category saw 12 applications from nine clubs. The jury noted the high quality of projects from Avangard and Torpedo. Sibir was recognized as the best club for their active work in promoting their mascot, including producing a series about it.
Best Implementation of the `KHL Hockey Lesson` Project
Over the three years of the project, more than 100,000 students have participated in hockey lessons. For the third consecutive year, Metallurg is the winner, consistently raising the standard for conducting these lessons.
Best Short Content Series
This new category received 14 applications from eight clubs. The jury commended the work of Avangard Omsk, while Ak Bars was the winner for content that often went beyond the hockey community and was accessible to a wider audience.
Best Video Project
There were nine applications from six clubs in this category. The jury highlighted Sibir`s series about the club mascot and Avangard`s `Business Trip` project. However, Traktor`s series `Put the Camera Away` was named the winner.
Best Press Service
Five applications were submitted for this nomination. Clubs were required to present their communication strategy or seasonal plan, demonstrate specific examples of interaction with media, and share achievements in developing club accounts and video projects. Hockey Club Sibir was the winner in this category.
