Abdul Rakhman Yakhyaev continued his undefeated streak, securing an early victory over Brendson Ribeiro at UFC Vegas 115. This impressive win marked his seventh first-round finish in his professional career.

Despite absorbing a few strikes early in the fight due to his aggressive approach, Yakhyaev successfully took Ribeiro to the ground. Ribeiro attempted to counter with a kimura, but Yakhyaev quickly transitioned, took his opponent’s back, and skillfully applied a rear-naked choke, forcing Ribeiro to tap out in the very first round.

This victory extended Yakhyaev’s professional MMA record to a perfect 9-0, with two of those triumphs occurring under the UFC banner. Known as ‘The Hunter,’ he also boosted his finish rate to an impressive 89%, showcasing his ability to end fights decisively.
