Arman Tsarukyan Predicts Makhachev Victory Over Topuria, Rejects Pre-Fight Friendship

MMA fighter Arman Tsarukyan has once again offered his firm opinion on a potential superfight between Islam Makhachev and Ilia Topuria. Tsarukyan confidently stated that Islam Makhachev would defeat Ilia Topuria in any weight class, whether at 155 or 170 pounds. This prediction comes as discussions continue regarding a high-profile matchup between the lightweight and featherweight champions.

During a recent interview, when asked about the hypothetical bout, Tsarukyan unequivocally picked Makhachev. While some, like Adin Ross, suggested Topuria might have a better chance at lightweight, Tsarukyan maintained that Makhachev’s victory is certain, regardless of the division.

Furthermore, Tsarukyan addressed his ongoing rivalry with Ilia Topuria. Despite attempts by interviewers to encourage a truce, Tsarukyan made it clear that any reconciliation or friendship with Topuria would only happen after they have fought. He emphasized his intention to settle their differences in the octagon first.

Currently, Tsarukyan is preparing to serve as a backup fighter for a significant lightweight title unification bout.
