UFC lightweight Arman Tsarukyan consistently makes headlines with his daring escapades both inside and outside the Octagon. As he awaits his next official UFC fight, Tsarukyan has maintained an exceptionally busy schedule, actively participating in numerous grappling, wrestling, and submission bouts across various promotions globally.
Following his significant split decision victory over Charles Oliveira at UFC 300 in April 2024, Tsarukyan, also known as “Ahalkalakets,” was originally slated to challenge then-lightweight champion Islam Makhachev at UFC 311 in January 2025. However, an apparent injury forced him to withdraw during fight week. Despite this, the 29-year-old Armenian has remained fiercely competitive, even securing a submission win against Dan Hooker at UFC Qatar last November. The first quarter of 2026 alone saw him compete four times in non-MMA events.
Beyond his athletic endeavors, Tsarukyan has cultivated a strong public presence through social media. He frequently engages with fans, sharing extravagant food experiences and appearing on live streams alongside popular influencers like Nina-Marie Daniele (Nina Drama) and KICK streamer N3ON, which has significantly amplified his visibility.
Arman Tsarukyan’s Alligator Encounter
Tsarukyan recently elevated his “wild adventures” to a new level during a visit to Everglades Holiday Park in Fort Lauderdale. While streaming live with Nina Drama and N3ON, he ventured into an alligator enclosure. Displaying his adventurous yet playful nature, the No. 2-ranked UFC lightweight briefly sat on the back of a large alligator. He then humorously inquired about attempting a rear-naked choke on the formidable reptile.
Although park staff assured him of safety, Tsarukyan wisely refrained from placing his arm near the alligator’s powerful jaws. Instead, he lightheartedly mimicked the choke for the cameras, creating a moment of levity. The alligator remained under the careful supervision of nearby trainers as Tsarukyan jokingly “rode” it, adding to his already eventful off-season activities.
Tsarukyan’s competitive drive remains strong. He recently secured a decision victory against his former foe Georgio Poullas at RAF 07. Looking ahead, he is scheduled to face former UFC veteran Urijah Faber in the co-main event of RAF 08 on April 18. This event will take place at the Liacouras Center at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
