Aspinall: "I am a difficult opponent for Jones, and he knows it"

Interim UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall offered his perspective on why undisputed champion Jon Jones seems hesitant to face him in the octagon.

In a recent interview with Johnson, Aspinall shared his thoughts: “I`m not entirely sure I should discuss financial aspects on camera. To be honest, I genuinely believe I represent a tough challenge for him, and I think he recognizes that. While I understand Jones`s viewpoint regarding his career path, my primary focus is singular: the title. I want that belt, and that is absolutely all that matters to me. Nothing else takes precedence. My sole ambition is to prove beyond doubt that I am the best heavyweight competitor.”

Recall that Aspinall has been sidelined from competition since July of last year, which is when he achieved a knockout victory over Curtis Blaydes.
