Bob Hartley has become the new head coach of Lokomotiv Yaroslavl. Reports indicate the salary for the Canadian specialist will be around 160 million rubles per year.
Since 2021, Lokomotiv was previously led by Igor Nikitin, who has now departed the club.
Hartley has prior KHL experience, having worked with Avangard Omsk and winning the Gagarin Cup with them in 2021. Furthermore, the Canadian coach led Colorado to a Stanley Cup victory in 2001.
