Dana White faces a significant challenge as a major UFC event now directly conflicts with the highly anticipated Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford boxing match.
Just last week, it was announced that the inaugural TKO Boxing event, spearheaded by Dana White, would feature a major fight between Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford to launch the promotion in an epic way.

Canelo vs Crawford Now Set to Clash with Huge UFC Event
Despite recent announcements regarding the UFC, White encountered a major setback just hours before when his TKO Boxing partner, Turki Alalshikh, revealed that the Canelo vs. Crawford fight would be moved from its initial date of Friday, September 12th, to Saturday, September 13th.
Normally, a one-day shift wouldn`t be a significant issue. However, the UFC is already scheduled to host its prominent Noche UFC event on Saturday, September 13th, which is planned to be a major spectacle.
While last year`s Noche UFC event was a unique spectacle at The Sphere, this year`s event, also known as UFC 320, is set to take place in Guadalajara, Mexico. This marks the first time a Noche UFC event will be held in Mexico.
Adding to the situation, Alalshikh announced that the boxing event will now be a Riyadh Season PPV, without commenting on TKO Boxing`s specific involvement.
Canelo vs Crawford Still Doesn’t Have a Location Set
Although the date is set, the location for the massive super middleweight title fight between Canelo and Crawford remains undecided. Alalshikh has suggested several potential venues.
Initially, the event was rumored to take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, despite Dana White having previously expressed concerns about hosting fight events in large stadiums.
Further details regarding the boxing super fight, including the chosen venue, are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. It is currently unclear how Dana White plans to navigate the situation of potentially promoting two major events in different locations on the same weekend.
