It is being reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are planning to relocate back to the United Kingdom from their current residence in Montecito, California. Their children, Prince Archie (seven years old) and Princess Lilibet (five years old), are expected to commence their schooling in England this September. However, the specific location where the family will reside has not yet been disclosed.

This news of a potential move follows the family's recent visit to the U.K. in July, marking their first visit together since 2022. During their trip, they visited Althorp estate, the historic ancestral home of the Spencer family and the childhood residence of Princess Diana. While in the U.K., the Sussexes stayed at this renowned stately home as guests of Prince Harry's uncle, Charles Spencer. The family's itinerary also included a reunion with King Charles and Queen Camilla, whom they had not seen since 2022.

Despite these plans, the Sussex family is not expected to fully relinquish their Montecito, California residence, nor their vacation home in Portugal. It is understood that the couple has no intention of resuming their royal duties and will continue to operate as private citizens.
