Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo has announced the signing of defenseman Mikhail Naumenkov to a one-year contract. In the 2024/2025 season, Naumenkov played for Salavat Yulaev, where he participated in 83 games, recording 24 points (5 goals and 19 assists). He also earned bronze medals with the Ufa-based club. Throughout his Kontinental Hockey League career, the defenseman has played a total of 696 games, scoring 39 goals and providing 121 assists.
In other news, it has been reported that HC Vityaz from the Moscow Oblast has terminated contracts with three players. Defenseman Vladislav Valentsov and forwards Nikita Almazov and Ivan Savchik have departed the team. Last season, Valentsov played 60 games for Vityaz, registering six assists. Almazov appeared in 18 games without scoring any points. Ivan Savchik participated in 59 matches, accumulating 13 points (6 goals and 7 assists).
