At the KSW 105 event held in Gliwice, Poland on April 27, a highly anticipated bout took place between two former holders of the `World`s Strongest Man` title: Britain`s Eddie Hall and Poland`s Mariusz Pudzianowski.
Eddie Hall entered the fight with no prior experience in professional mixed martial arts. In contrast, Mariusz Pudzianowski was an established MMA fighter with a record of 17 wins and 10 losses, having competed in the sport since 2009. Additionally, the 37-year-old Hall had a significant weight advantage, weighing 30 kg more than Pudzianowski.
The fight, scheduled for two four-minute rounds, concluded dramatically in only 30 seconds. Hall overwhelmed his Polish opponent with his very first strike, sending him to the canvas before securing the decisive finish.
Prior reports had suggested that the victor of this strongman-versus-strongman clash might potentially compete against renowned PFL heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou in a future matchup.
