Feared former UFC champion scores brutal first-round KO in boxing as she trolls consensus GWOAT

Former UFC champion Cris Cyborg stepped back into the boxing ring in San Jose this past Saturday, facing Precious Harris-McCray.

Since her departure from the UFC in 2019, Cris Cyborg has built an impressive record in both MMA and boxing, showcasing her striking prowess in both sports.

Currently under contract with the PFL following their acquisition of Bellator, Cyborg has frequently vocalized her frustrations with the PFL organization, claiming a lack of scheduled fights has led to inactivity.

To counter this period of idleness, the formidable Brazilian fighter has been competing in boxing, racking up knockout wins and quickly establishing herself as a notable figure in the sport.

Cyborg Delivers First-Round Knockout in Boxing Match

Having not competed under the PFL banner since last October, the former UFC champion made her return to boxing at Fight Night 3 in San Jose last Saturday, where she took on Precious Harris-McCray.

Her previous boxing bout was in March, resulting in a third-round knockout victory over Valentina Angarita.

The 39-year-old athlete secured another spectacular knockout in her latest appearance, finishing Harris-McCray in the opening round with a fierce barrage of punches.

Cris Cyborg Taunts Claressa Shields After Recent KO Win

For several years, Cyborg has been involved in a public disagreement with boxing world champion Claressa Shields, repeatedly attempting to set up an MMA fight against `T-Rex`.

Shields has also competed three times under the PFL banner, winning two bouts and losing one, often citing `not enough time` as a reason for her limited fight schedule.

Following her dominant performance last Saturday, Cyborg issued a challenge, stating:

“Only 5 boxing fights but I’ve already got more KO’s than Claressa Shields.”

Despite Shields` claim to be the greatest women`s fighter of all time, she has only achieved three knockout victories throughout her 16-fight undefeated professional boxing career.
