Get ready for the 24th and concluding regular season tour of the KHL 3×3 Championship, taking place from June 26 to 29.

Last Tour Highlights

Tour 23 featured a notable battle between Ak Bars and Avangard. Ak Bars experienced a rare defeat against Omsk during the tour but secured revenge in the Supergame.

Additionally, the list of players surpassing the one-hundred-point mark doubled in the previous tour. Grigory Nesvetaev (Traktor) and Yuri Muravyov (Ak Bars) joined the Metallurg duo, Sergey Shmelyov and Pavel Varfolomeev (both on 113 points). Two more Metallurg players are close to entering this elite club in Tour 24: Dmitry Marchenkov (needs 7 points) and Andrey Oleinikov (needs 12 points).

Rules Overview

KHL 3×3 Championship games are played on a specialized rink measuring 34 by 18 meters with minimal markings, including a center line, center circle, and goal creases.

Key rules include:

  • Each period is seven minutes of stop-time.
  • There is a brief two-minute break between periods.
  • Physical checking and fighting are prohibited.
  • Infractions result in penalty shots with pursuit instead of traditional penalties.
  • Faceoffs are minimal, occurring only at the start of periods and after goals.
  • If the game is tied after regulation, a shootout determines the winner.
