Gadzhi Rabadanov Secures Terrifying 32-Second Knockout Win Over Marc Diakiese

Picking up precisely where he left off after claiming the 2024 PFL championship, Gadzhi Rabadanov delivered a spectacular performance, securing a swift knockout victory against former UFC fighter Marc Diakiese. The bout, which served as the co-main event at PFL 3 on Friday, concluded in an astonishingly short 32 seconds.

The fight unfolded in rapid fashion. Diakiese attempted to showcase his striking with a kick aimed at the Russian contender, but the maneuver proved disastrous. Rabadanov expertly caught the kick, quickly converting it into a takedown. Once on the canvas, the Russian wasted no time, immediately unleashing a series of devastating ground and pound strikes.

The powerful shots quickly found their mark. A particularly brutal right hand from Rabadanov landed cleanly, rendering Diakiese unconscious. He fell limp onto the mat, prompting the referee to immediately step in and halt the contest to prevent further damage.

Diakiese remained down for a brief period following the stoppage before he was able to recover and be assisted to his stool.

The official time of the decisive knockout victory for Rabadanov was confirmed at just 32 seconds.

Speaking after his latest triumph, Rabadanov emphasized respect for his opponents while highlighting his own drive. “This is sport. I stay respectful for all my opponents,” Rabadanov stated.

Of course, I have more motivation. I have to prove to people I deserve to be here. I prepared for this. It worked. He has a family. He has his fans and I understand this guy. I don`t want to break somebody. I just want to win.

Now extending his impressive overall win streak to 11 consecutive victories, including five straight wins within the PFL organization, Rabadanov is widely considered a strong favorite to win the ongoing PFL lightweight tournament. His next challenge is scheduled to be against Jay-Jay Wilson in the semifinals.
