Golden Knights Sign D Kaedan Korczak to Four-Year Extension

Addressing future uncertainties on the defensive end, particularly regarding veteran Alex Pietrangelo, the Golden Knights have extended a young blueliner.

Defenseman Kaedan Korczak has finalized a four-year contract extension with the Vegas Golden Knights worth $13 million, carrying an average annual value of $3.25 million, the team announced.

This new agreement will keep Korczak with the Golden Knights organization through the conclusion of the 2029-30 season.

Korczak, aged 24, appeared in a career-high 40 games for the Golden Knights last season. During that time, he recorded 10 assists and finished with an impressive plus-minus rating of +15.

A native of Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Korczak was originally selected by the Golden Knights 41st overall in the second round of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft.

Since joining the professional ranks, Korczak has accumulated one goal and 20 assists over 77 career games played in the NHL.
