Decision by the KHL Board of Directors.
A remote meeting of the KHL Board of Directors concluded on Friday, June 27, 2025.
As a result of this meeting, the team HC Vityaz has been excluded from participation in the
Kontinental Hockey League`s Fonbet Championship for the seasons spanning 2025/2026 through 2029/2030.
Additionally, the junior team “Russkie Vityazi” has been removed from the Olimpbet MHL Championship for the 2025/2026 season.
The Board of Directors also resolved to grant “Unrestricted Free Agent” status to players of
HC Vityaz, effective from July 15, 2025. This status will be applied unless their
sporting rights are transferred to another club through an exchange prior to the specified date.
