Holly Holm: A look back at a legendary career
Holm concluded her boxing career with an impressive record of 33-2-3 (9 KO’s) and defended her titles 18 times. She held world championships in three different weight classes.
Her accomplishments in boxing were recognized with an induction into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2022, even while she was competing in the UFC.
There is potential for Holm to one day be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame alongside her memorable opponent Ronda Rousey. Known as `The Preacher`s Daughter`, Holm consistently faced the top bantamweights in the world for nearly a decade.
Holm also challenged the formidable Cris Cyborg for the featherweight title when few others would, becoming the first fighter to take the `Grand Slam` champion the full five rounds.
Her resume includes two victories over former champion Raquel Pennington and bouts against notable fighters such as Amanda Nunes (the WMMA `GOAT`), Valentina Shevchenko, Germaine de Randamie, and Kayla Harrison, all of whom are world champions.
