Isis Sio Out of Coma and Returns Home After Severe Knockout

Nineteen-year-old boxer Isis Sio, who was placed in a medically induced coma following a knockout loss to Jocelyn Camarillo on March 22, has been discharged from the hospital and is now back home with her family.

“We are deeply thankful for the overwhelming love, prayers, and support that have come from the boxing community, friends, fans, and people around the world,” Sio’s family stated. “The prayers lifted up during this time have meant everything to Isis and her family. God is great, and we truly believe He heard every single prayer that was said for her.”

This was only Sio’s fourth professional boxing match of her career.

Previously, ProBoxTV had released a statement extending their prayers for her swift recovery and their thoughts to her and her family during that very difficult time.
