However, it appears their participation stems primarily from a desire to be featured on the card, as they showed virtually no hostility towards each other during their pre-fight press conference. The conflict, surprisingly, erupted between their girlfriends during the promotional event.

The Island Boys participated in a live-streamed press conference earlier this week to promote their upcoming fight. The bout is set to be broadcast on Ross` Kick channel, known for attracting millions of viewers.
While the brothers remained respectful towards each other, even shaking hands during their face-off, their girlfriends were far less civil. After Flyysoulja’s girlfriend, KaylaThayla, reportedly mocked Kodiyakredd’s girlfriend, Liv, the latter responded by slapping her from behind.
Fortunately, security quickly intervened as the argument escalated, while Ross attempted to redirect the focus back to the event. It`s unclear what happened after both women were removed from the press conference, but the tension reportedly remained evident at the weigh-ins the following day.

Fans expressed surprise earlier this month upon the announcement that the Island Boys brothers would fight each other with minimal prior build-up. Both are widely considered inexperienced fighters; Kodiyakredd notably lost his debut by knockout in front of UFC president Dana White.
Redd was initially expected to take time off for further training, while Flyysoulja was slated to fight TikTok personality Charleston White. However, that fight fell through due to a medical issue with White, who is set to turn 55 tomorrow.
Instead, the siblings were reportedly asked to fight each other on this weekend`s card by Jordan Galen, described as Ross` equivalent of the UFC`s Hunter Campbell or Dana White. They are now scheduled to compete in the co-main event of the show, which also features Gabriel, son of Anderson Silva.
