Hockey club «Северсталь» (Severtal) secured a confident 6:2 victory over «Амур» (Amur), extending their impressive winning streak to eight matches. This successful performance allowed the team to maintain their leading position in the Western Conference. Defenseman Иоаннис Калдис (Ioannis Kaldis) showcased outstanding offensive prowess, scoring a goal, assisting twice, and accumulating points in his fifth consecutive game (3 goals + 5 assists).

Avtomobilist Clinches Ural Derby

In the “Ural Derby,” «Автомобилист» (Avtomobilist) defeated «Трактор» (Traktor) for the second time in six days. The regulation time ended in a 1:1 draw: Роман Горбунов (Roman Gorbunov) opened the scoring in the very first minute, and Михаил Григоренко (Mikhail Grigorenko) equalized shortly before the final buzzer, forcing overtime. Grigorenko continued his scoring streak, tallying points in his sixth consecutive game (5 goals + 3 assists). The winner was determined in a shootout, where Анатолий Голышев (Anatoly Golyshev)`s precise shot brought victory to Avtomobilist.

Spartak Claims Moscow Derby Thriller

The Moscow derby between «Спартак» (Spartak) and ЦСКА (CSKA) concluded with a 3:2 victory for the Red-Whites, with all three Spartak goals scored on the power play. Адам Ружичка (Adam Ruzicka) netted the game-winning goal just forty seconds before the end of the third period. Notably, CSKA`s Максим Соркин (Maxim Sorkin) recorded his 100th career assist in the KHL during this match.

Dramatic Comeback in Yaroslavl

The match in Yaroslavl between «Лада» (Lada) and «Локомотив» (Lokomotiv) unfolded with an incredible plot twist. Lada held a 2:0 lead by the middle of the third period, but Lokomotiv staged a spectacular comeback late in the game. Егор Сурин (Egor Surin) reduced the deficit in the 52nd minute, and Александр Радулов (Alexander Radulov) tied the score in the 58th. Immediately after, Radulov (No. 47) assisted Байрону Фрэзу (Byron Froese), for whom this game marked his 100th appearance in the KHL.

Career Milestones Marked

Yesterday`s game day also saw milestone appearances for two defensemen, though their teams suffered significant defeats. Артём Волков (Artyom Volkov) of «Сочи» (Sochi) played his 500th KHL career game against «Динамо» (Dynamo) Minsk, where his team lost 2:8. Александр Брынцев (Alexander Bryntsev), representing «Куньлунь Ред Стар» (Kunlun Red Star, referred to as “Shanghai Dragons” in the original text), played his 600th game against «Динамо» (Dynamo) Moscow, which ended in a 1:5 defeat for his team.
