KHL Transfer Tracker: June 2nd Updates

Here`s a roundup of the key transfers and contract news from the KHL on June 2nd.

Sibir has signed forward Nikita Soshnikov to a two-year contract. The 31-year-old forward played for Admiral last season, where he recorded 46 points (25 goals, 21 assists) in 62 games. Over his KHL career, he has accumulated 228 points (104 goals, 124 assists) in 415 appearances.

CSKA and Salavat Yulaev completed a transaction that sent 18-year-old forward Roman Rizvanov to Ufa in exchange for monetary compensation to the Moscow club.

In another move involving Ufa, Salavat Yulaev and HC Sochi exchanged players. Salavat Yulaev acquired the rights to Ilya Fedotov, while Matvey Babenko moved to Sochi. Subsequently, Fedotov signed a two-year, one-way contract with Salavat Yulaev, and Babenko signed a two-way deal with Sochi lasting until the end of the 2026/2027 season.

Additionally, Salavat Yulaev traded 19-year-old defenseman Alexei Rodionov to Krylya Sovetov (MHL) for monetary compensation.

Avangard has secured defenseman and team captain Damir Sharipzyanov with a new contract extending until the end of the 2029/2030 season. Sharipzyanov played 81 games last season, tallying 53 points (15 goals, 38 assists) and a +25 rating. His career KHL stats include 234 points (61 goals, 173 assists) in 545 games with a +77 rating.

Goaltender Nikita Serebryakov also signed a contract with Avangard for the same extensive term, running until the end of the 2029/2030 season. Serebryakov joined the Omsk team during the 2024/2025 season. He has played in 293 career KHL games, earning 120 victories.

CSKA and HC Sochi completed a defenseman swap, with Anton Malyshev going to Sochi and Alexander Gubanov joining CSKA.

Amur signed forward Evgeny Grachev to a new one-year contract. In the 2024/2025 season, Grachev scored 17 points (7 goals, 10 assists) in 66 games.

Severstal acquired forward Danil Veryaev from Yugra (VHL) for monetary compensation.

Severstal signed Canadian defenseman Thomas Gregoire to a one-year contract. Last season, Gregoire played for Kloten in Switzerland, where he posted 8 goals and 17 assists with a +4 rating in 51 regular season games, adding 1 goal and 1 assist with a +3 rating in nine playoff games.

HC Sochi signed forward Pavel Kudryavtsev to a two-year contract. In the 2024/2025 season, Kudryavtsev played 74 games for Dynamo Moscow and recorded 29 points (14 goals, 15 assists).

Severstal and Dynamo Saint Petersburg (VHL) made a trade: forward Alexander Zhabreev goes to Cherepovets, and the VHL club received monetary compensation.

HC Sochi and Jean-Christophe Beaudin signed a contract through the end of the 2025/2026 season. The Canadian forward spent last season with TPS in Finland, where he recorded 42 points (15 goals, 27 assists) in 57 games.

HC Sochi also signed goaltender Pavel Khomchenko to a one-year contract. Last season, Khomchenko played for both Avangard and CSKA.

Goaltender Denis Kostin signed a two-year contract with Torpedo. Last season, Kostin played for Sibir, appearing in 54 games, securing 24 wins with a .927 save percentage, a 2.38 goals-against average, and 6 shutouts.

Torpedo acquired goaltender Lawrence Zinaddin from Izhstal (VHL) for monetary compensation.

Severstal acquired goaltender Timofey Korolev from Olimpia (VHL) for monetary compensation.
