Darren Till Leaves Misfits Boxing for Conor McGregor's BKFC Debut
After his exit from the UFC, many speculated that Darren Till would retire from combat sports entirely. However, Till had different intentions, joining Misfits Boxing in 2025 and facing Anthony Taylor.
Till secured a TKO victory in that bout and followed up with two more wins against Darren Stewart and Luke Rockhold. Fans were excited, believing Till had found his niche in boxing and eagerly anticipated his future prospects.
In a surprising turn of events, Till has now announced his amicable departure from Misfits Boxing. He has subsequently signed a multi-fight agreement with the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC).
“I am very pleased to be signing with the BKFC. It’s an amazing promotion! F*** everyone on this roster, I’m coming to be the face of violence. No one can beat me,” Darren Till declared.
Till is slated to make his highly anticipated BKFC debut later this month. The former UFC contender will compete at BKFC 90, scheduled for May 30 at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham, England.
He is expected to compete in the middleweight division (185 pounds), marking a new chapter in his combat sports career. While an opponent remains unannounced, excitement is building among fans for his bare-knuckle transition.
Will Darren Till vs. Mike Perry Finally Happen?
The Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship has seen rapid growth recently, significantly boosted by Conor McGregor's involvement as a co-founder and ambassador. McGregor's active promotion across various platforms has greatly increased the organization's visibility and drawn in a wider combat sports audience.
One of BKFC's prominent stars is Mike Perry, known for his intense rivalry with Darren Till during their MMA careers. With Perry currently slated to face Nate Diaz, fans are left wondering if a long-awaited showdown with Till will eventually materialize.
