Lada to Sign World Junior Champion William Dufour

Russian KHL club Lada Togliatti is reportedly close to signing a contract with 23-year-old Canadian forward William Dufour. This news comes from Sport-Express.

Dufour was a key player for Canada at the 2023 World Junior Championship, where his team won gold. He famously scored a goal in the championship final.

Last season, Dufour`s rights were traded from the New York Islanders organization to the Colorado Avalanche organization. He spent the season primarily in the AHL (American Hockey League), playing 57 regular season games and recording 22 points, consisting of 9 goals and 13 assists.
