
The top performers for the recently concluded season across each position have been revealed, with several prominent players securing their positions on these prestigious lists after delivering strong performances.
Following the league`s annual awards ceremony on Thursday evening, the NHL announced its First All-Star Team, featuring Nathan MacKinnon, Nikita Kucherov, Kyle Connor, Cale Makar, Zach Werenski, and Connor Hellebuyck.
Several players on the First Team are repeat selections. This includes Hart Trophy recipient Hellebuyck, making his third appearance; Ted Lindsay Award winner Kucherov, selected for the fourth time; and Norris Trophy winner Makar, also earning his third First Team nomination. Kyle Connor of the Jets and Zach Werenski of the Blue Jackets are first-time honorees.
The Second All-Star Team consists of Leon Draisaitl, Brandon Hagel, David Pastrnak, Victor Hedman, Quinn Hughes, and Andrei Vasilevskiy.
Additionally, the league unveiled its All-Rookie Team, recognizing the top first-year players from across the NHL.
Named to the All-Rookie Team are the 2024 first-overall draft pick Macklin Celebrini, alongside Cutter Gauthier, Matvei Michkov, Calder Trophy recipient Lane Hutson, Denton Mateychuk, and goaltender Dustin Wolf.
