Oilers Player Jake Walman Fined $10,000 After Game 3 Incidents vs. Panthers

The Edmonton Oilers` defeat against the Florida Panthers in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final on Monday brought additional consequences for one specific player.

Jake Walman has been fined for two separate actions that occurred during the decisive 6-1 loss, as announced by the NHL`s Department of Player Safety on Tuesday.

The first penalty, a $5,000 fine, was imposed for roughing Florida`s Matthew Tkachuk. The second fine, also for $5,000, was for unsportsmanlike conduct related to an incident involving the Panthers` bench.

Both fines represent the maximum amount permitted under the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
