Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett once again silenced his skeptics with a compelling showing.

While UFC 314 prominently featured featherweight action, including Alexander Volkanovski`s title capture against Diego Lopes and significant wins for Yair Rodriguez, Jean Silva, and Dan Ige, it was arguably Pimblett who garnered the most attention. His decisive performance against seasoned veteran Michael Chandler solidified his standing as a top 10 competitor in the lightweight division.

However, questions linger regarding just how high his ranking can and should ultimately climb.

Pimblett`s newly elevated position ignited a notable discussion among the MMA Fighting rankings panel. The core of the debate centered on whether Pimblett truly overcame a high-level top 10 fighter or if his success was facilitated by facing what might have been the least effective version of Michael Chandler seen inside the octagon.
