All participants for the upcoming PFL 3 event in Orlando successfully made their required weights, clearing the path for Friday night`s middleweight and lightweight tournament bouts.
Held at Universal Studios Florida, the event features the opening rounds of the 2024 middleweight and lightweight seasons. In contrast to some previous PFL events this year which saw weigh-in issues, this time the process went smoothly, with every competitor meeting their weight limits.
The main event features 2023 PFL light heavyweight champion Impa Kasanganay facing off against former Bellator title challenger Fabian Edwards. Both fighters stepped onto the scale at an identical 185.6 pounds.
In the co-main event, 2024 PFL lightweight champion Gadzhi Rabadanov successfully weighed in at the 156-pound limit for his fight against former UFC notable Marc Diakiese, who registered 155.2 pounds.
Additional prominent matchups on the card include the return of former PFL champion Sadibou Sy taking on Dalton Rosta in the middleweight tournament, and former Bellator lightweight champion Brent Primus squaring off against Vinicius Cenci in the lightweight tournament.
