The Professional Fighters League has once again cancelled an event scheduled for Paris, pulling the plug on the show that was set for May 23 in France. PFL announced the decision recently but did not disclose a specific reason for the cancellation.

In their statement, the promotion described the event as being “rescheduled,” and confirmed that tickets would be refunded. However, no new date for the event was mentioned. This mirrors a situation in October 2024, when a Bellator Paris show (also under the PFL umbrella) was similarly said to be “rescheduled for later dates.”

The now-cancelled Paris card was notable as it was expected to feature the mixed martial arts debut of former French national football team and Manchester United captain Patrice Evra. The show was cancelled before an opponent for Evra was named.

The main event for PFL Paris was planned to be a lightweight bout between Mansour Barnaoui and Archie Colgan. The promotion has not yet announced if the planned fights from this card, including those for the PFL Europe bantamweight tournament, will be relocated to other upcoming events.
