
The hockey world sees another transaction as the Philadelphia Flyers and Seattle Kraken have finalized a trade involving two promising minor league forwards. The Flyers organization has acquired Tucker Robertson from the Kraken, while Jon-Randall Avon will now be joining the Seattle Kraken`s prospect pool.
Both players, currently 22 years old, are actively developing their skills in the American Hockey League (AHL) and are yet to make their debut at the NHL level.
Jon-Randall Avon`s Journey to Seattle
Avon originally joined the Flyers as an undrafted free agent in 2021. During his tenure with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, Philadelphia`s AHL affiliate, the Peterborough, Ontario native played in 125 games. Over this period, he recorded 16 goals and 19 assists, totaling 35 points before his move to Seattle.
Tucker Robertson Joins the Flyers
Robertson was a fourth-round selection by the Kraken in the 2022 NHL Draft. With Seattle`s AHL affiliate, the Coachella Valley Firebirds, the Toronto native participated in 77 career games, tallying 10 goals and 9 assists for 19 points. He will now aim to continue his progression within the Philadelphia Flyers` system.
