Following a career-best season with the Vancouver Canucks, Pius Suter has secured a new contract.
The St. Louis Blues announced Wednesday they have signed the center to a two-year contract with an average annual value (AAV) of $4.125 million.
The 29-year-old Suter set new personal bests for goals (25) and points (46) and equaled his high for assists (21) across 81 games during his time with the Canucks last season.
Prior to joining Vancouver as a free agent before the 2023-24 season, Suter had stints with the Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks.
In his 364 career NHL appearances, the undrafted Swiss forward has accumulated 162 points (80 goals, 82 assists).
Suter`s new contract represents a significant salary bump compared to his previous agreement, under which he earned $1.6 million over the last two seasons.
