SKA Forward Sergei Plotnikov Suspended for Two KHL Matches

The Disciplinary Committee of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) has announced a suspension for SKA forward Sergei Plotnikov. This decision comes after an incident during the match between Lokomotiv and SKA, which occurred at 50 minutes and 57 seconds into the game.

Following a review of the provided materials, the committee has upheld the original penalty. Plotnikov was found to have violated clause 1.11.2 of Article 29 of the KHL Disciplinary Regulations, pertaining to “Boarding.” As a consequence, Sergei Plotnikov has been suspended for two games and will also incur a monetary fine.
