Legendary Canadian rock band Triumph is reuniting for a three-song performance in the Ice District as part of the `Rogers Festival at the Final`. This free outdoor concert will take place just before Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final. The event`s lineup also includes an performance by the acclaimed rock band The Glorious Sons.

This marks the first time Triumph has played together publicly since 2008. The band, formed in 1975 by Rik Emmett, Gil Moore, and Mike Levine, rose to prominence during the late 1970s and 1980s.

Globally, Triumph has achieved impressive sales, with over 15 million albums sold. They have earned 18 gold and nine platinum certifications specifically in Canada and the United States.

This performance is the culmination of a collaboration between Rogers and Triumph during the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Rogers featured the band`s hit song `Lay It On The Line` in their playoff commercial. This exposure led to a significant increase in younger listeners discovering Triumph via Shazam, with the song quickly climbing to number one on Shazam’s Canadian charts and remaining there for three weeks.

Terrie Tweddle, Chief Brand and Communications Officer at Rogers, expressed excitement about bringing Triumph to the festival, stating that the ad campaign successfully introduced the iconic band to a new generation of music enthusiasts.

For Game 1 of the Final, the free outdoor concert featured Canadian rock band The Arkells.
