Steveson's conduct has drawn mixed reactions, and his relationship with fans remains strained. Former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, who has experienced significant losses himself, recommended that Steveson disconnect from public view for a period after his UFC 331 defeat.
Adesanya's Blunt Guidance for Steveson
During a recent appearance on the Precision podcast with Demetrious Johnson, Adesanya shared straightforward advice for Steveson.
"He's already a villain in this fight, given the crowd's reaction and his past allegations," Adesanya stated. "After this, he'll just have to ride out the storm."
"Just log off," Adesanya continued. "People will say things, but don't let it get to you. When you're offline, stay in the gym and with your people. Stay close to them, because we don't know what happens in certain circles. The internet is a free-for-all. It's all fair in love and war."
"So, just log off, stay with your circle, keep training, and don't let these events derail you."
As of now, Steveson has not made any public statements following UFC 331.
