Undefeated Micah Haas Boosted by Elite Training Ahead of WXC 100 Title Clash

Rising flyweight star Micah Haas (7-0) is gearing up for his highly anticipated title clash against Jake Scott (8-1) at WXC 100 on April 11th. The undefeated fighter recently shared insights into his rigorous preparation, the significant boost he’s received from training alongside top-tier talent like UFC contender Tatsuro Taira, and his aspirations beyond the cage, including advocating for mental health and making his mark in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Haas described his current camp as the most demanding of his career, a necessity for the grueling five-round championship bout. “This has been the hardest training camp I’ve ever experienced,” Haas stated. “Knowing this is a five-round fight, I’ve been doing three-a-day sessions and haven’t had an active rest day.”

He emphasized the elevated quality of his training partners, which has significantly bolstered his self-assurance. “I got to spar with Brandon Royval, Luis Gurie, and UFC flyweight contender Tatsuro Taira. That has really given me an extra level of confidence,” he added, highlighting the invaluable experience gained from working with such elite athletes.

A victory at WXC 100 could potentially pave his way to the UFC – a dream he aims to achieve while also using his growing platform to raise awareness for mental health.
