Daniel Dubois orchestrated an extraordinary comeback to reclaim the WBO heavyweight championship, triumphing over Fabio Wardley in a bout widely regarded as a Fight of the Year contender.
The fight almost took a disastrous turn for Dubois in the opening seconds when Wardley landed a powerful right hand, sending Dubois to the canvas. Although Dubois appeared to recover, he was knocked down again in the third round by an overhand right from Wardley.
Despite being knocked down twice within the first three rounds, Dubois demonstrated incredible resilience and was far from defeated.
