“A lot has changed in my life, not just my mindset,” Figueiredo stated to MMA Junkie through an interpreter. “I just need to do everything correctly. I used to sometimes overstep boundaries, but now I need to stay within the lines and do things the right way to make my way back to the title.”
“This is a new beginning,” Figueiredo continued. “I need to execute everything properly, secure a win, and continue my journey towards the belt.”
“I’m feeling 100 percent,” he affirmed. “My mindset is right, I feel good, and everything is perfect. I’m confident I’ll showcase my best performance on Saturday.”
