Topuria asserted that while he possesses the grappling skills to dominate Gaethje, he prefers to engage in a pure striking war to provide maximum entertainment. He drew a parallel to his previous fight against Max Holloway, where he opted for a striking duel over a ground-and-pound victory to ensure an electrifying bout.
Beyond his upcoming title unification bout, Topuria also turned his attention to potential future adversary Arman Tsarukyan, who is serving as the official backup fighter for the Gaethje fight.
