During UFC Macau, Teixeira faced the highly-ranked heavyweight contender Sergei Pavlovich. The bout concluded swiftly, with Pavlovich delivering a knockout in just 39 seconds.

The fight began with Pavlovich immediately pressing forward. He landed a powerful left-right combination, momentarily stunning Teixeira. Despite the initial impact, Teixeira remained standing. Pavlovich capitalized on the opportunity, launching a barrage of strikes that sent Teixeira to the canvas. Though Teixeira attempted to defend by turning away, Pavlovich was determined to finish the fight, continuing his assault until the referee intervened and stopped the match.

Pavlovich’s victory came via TKO in the first round, extending his UFC winning streak to three. He has expressed his desire for a title shot or a fight against a top contender.

Meanwhile, Tallison Teixeira has now lost two of his last four professional fights.
