Luke Rockhold Delivers Scathing Assessment of Sean Strickland

Former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold has voiced his strong disapproval of his fellow former 185-pound titleholder, Sean Strickland.

“Sean is certainly capable and possesses a tenacious fighting style,” Rockhold commented to Adam Zubayraev, speaking in anticipation of the UFC 328 event in Newark, New Jersey. At this event, Strickland is slated to face the current champion, Khamzat Chimaev, for the middleweight title.

“Khamzat possesses a significantly higher level of talent. The outcome will hinge on which fighter can perform with composure and execute their strategy most effectively. Khamzat appears to be doing everything necessary, and I anticipate a masterclass performance from him. While there might have been some pressure in his last outing as he strived for the world title, he now has the opportunity to showcase his absolute best. I expect a dominant performance from Khamzat and would greatly enjoy witnessing him overcome this American opponent.”

“Despite being American myself, I value good character. Khamzat is, without question, a remarkable individual. Sean Strickland, on the other hand, I consider to be a detestable person.”
