Conor McGregor has again voiced his opinion on the UFC’s Anti-Doping Test History Database. With speculation mounting about McGregor’s anticipated return in July during International Fight Week, potentially against Max Holloway, the fighter has drawn attention to the increased testing he’s undergoing.
Reports suggest Dana White might announce this highly anticipated matchup during the upcoming MVP and Netflix event featuring Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano, aiming to capture headlines and redirect focus to the UFC.
Conor McGregor has emerged as the most frequently tested UFC fighter this year, having undergone 11 tests in 2026. This stands in stark contrast to other fighters; Bassil Hafez and Luis Dias de Assis are second and third on the list, each having been tested 5 times.
Commenting on the updated testing data, McGregor humorously remarked, “Crazy. As well as who isn’t getting tested at all.”
In response to a query about pound-for-pound king Islam Makhachev’s testing frequency, Jed I. Goodman clarified that the database only includes fighters tested four or more times, noting Makhachev has been tested once this year.
Dana White on Conor McGregor’s Potential July Fight
While Dana White expressed confidence in Conor McGregor fighting this year, he acknowledged that no formal agreement has been reached yet. Speaking after UFC 328, White stated, “There is no deal done with Conor. I was just saying I’m confident. I was confident last year, too, but I am way more confident this year.”
