Duangdawnoi Targets Early Finish Against Seiberth at The Inner Circle 33
Duangdawnoi Looksaikongdin, an undefeated Thai atomweight, has reviewed her upcoming opponent Aline Seiberth's fight footage. Seiberth, a Swiss debutant with 30 wins, poses a threat that Duangdawnoi believes she can overcome.
The pair are set to compete in the atomweight Muay Thai co-main event of The Inner Circle 33 on Friday, October 2. The fight will stream live from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok.
Duangdawnoi, 27, holds a 3-0 record in ONE Championship, with her last win against Yana Yip. This victory came amidst personal distractions, occurring shortly after her brother-in-law Rodtang Jitmuangnon's loss.
Seiberth, 35, is the WBC Muay Thai European Champion and is making her promotional debut. Duangdawnoi and her team have identified Seiberth's tendencies as a powerful one-two punch combination followed by low kicks.
"I've watched some of her fight footage. She uses a strong one-two combination and then follows with low kicks. Based on our training, I feel ready to handle her. Her punches seem hard, but I don't see any single move that's exceptionally dangerous," Duangdawnoi stated.
Duangdawnoi, who secured a second-round stoppage in her second ONE appearance, intends to finish the fight decisively, rather than let it go to the judges.
A win would advance her goal of securing a main roster contract and a future title shot. For now, her focus remains solely on Seiberth.
"I will go for the finish if the opportunity arises. I'm unsure of Aline's exact strategy, but I'll adapt. If striking is required, I will strike. I'll seize any chance to finish the fight or land a strong counter. I finished my second fight in the second round. For this bout, I want an early end, regardless of the round," she explained.
