UFC 332: Most Fighters Make Weight, Ribovics Loses Purse Percentage
The UFC 332 weigh-ins went smoothly for nearly all athletes, with Esteban Ribovics being the sole exception.
Ribovics' lightweight bout against King Green will now proceed at a catchweight. Green successfully weighed in at 155.5 pounds, but Ribovics exceeded the limit at 156.5 pounds. As a consequence, Ribovics forfeits 20 percent of his fight purse.
All other UFC 332 fighters met their weight requirements. This includes the headliners, Natalia Silva and Wang Cong, who will compete for the vacant UFC Women’s Flyweight Championship. Silva weighed in at 125 pounds, and Cong at 124.5 pounds.
The co-main event fighters, Deiveson Figueiredo and Payton Talbott, also made weight for their bantamweight matchup. Figueiredo hit the 135-pound mark, while Talbott weighed in at 135.5 pounds.
Roberto Soldic is set for his UFC debut against Khaos Williams in a welterweight contest. Both fighters successfully weighed in at 170 pounds.
